Club agreed to stop “Widows and Children’s” outing primarily on cost and lack of Rotarians prepared to support the event.

Council agreed where the Club had charity speakers the donation made by the club would be increased from £25 to £50.

Practice interviews held by the club at the engineering training school.

Apprentice of the Year Award still going strong in conjunction with the Engineering School.

International night held to raise fund for Street children of Bogota whiich enabled the club to disburse £1000 to the charity.

£1800 disbursed from Benevolent fund.

Rotarian David McNidder Re-elected District Foundation Officer. District Governor visited club on the 18th October

Founder member & President of East Kilbride Rotary Club Rotarian Dan Wright served Rotary and the club for 26 years with active & productive membership Rotary Service April 1965- October 1991.

£100 donated to the Salvation Army’s re-building of their halls.

Rotarian George Gunn & Non Rotarian Pat O‘Brien walked across Scotland from Scurdyness on the east coast to Ardnamurchan point on the west and raised nearly £3000 for our Local Dementia carers group's new premises at Pine Crescent East Kilbride

Club run Mock interviews at St. Brides High School for pupils.

On going projects Ranfurly Library, Emergency boxes, Stamp Collection, Eye Camps, Burns Lunch.

Grant of £200 made available for the formation of a Probus Club. Henry Doig acted as Councillor for Ambassadorial student from Vietnam Dr. Chi Le Ha on behalf of the Corstorphine Club in Edinburgh.
