Club agreed to stop “Widows and Children’s” outing primarily on cost and lack of Rotarians prepared to support the event.
Council agreed where the Club had charity speakers the donation made by the club would be increased from £25 to £50.

International night held to raise fund for Street children of Bogota whiich enabled the club to disburse £1000 to the charity.

£100 donated to the Salvation Army’s re-building of their halls.
Rotarian George Gunn & Non Rotarian Pat O‘Brien walked across Scotland from Scurdyness on the east coast to Ardnamurchan point on the west and raised nearly £3000 for our Local Dementia carers group's new premises at Pine Crescent East Kilbride

Club earned its first Presidential Citation because of its successful well balanced programme carried out by the members. David McNidder again appointed District Foundation Officer.

Grant of £200 made available for the formation of a Probus Club. Henry Doig acted as Councillor for Ambassadorial student from Vietnam Dr. Chi Le Ha on behalf of the Corstorphine Club in Edinburgh.
